Cricket Shooting Sparrows In the Snow
I just topped an even dozen on sparrows – enough for a pie – and stayed warm (luckily the wife is gone). This setup is incredibly effective although I have the Caldwell Magnum pod too. I took a shot a squirrel at about 85 yards before I realized the season ended yesterday. Luckily I missed. 😯
You can see the hills with the snow on them. The second hill (top is way out of the picture) is behind the first smaller one and goes pretty high. The perfect backstop. The creek is at the base of the first hill. You can see the edge of the creek along the lower part of the wind chimes. The roof extends over those outdoor shooting benches. The deer was all over the corn under the snow out there this morning.
The creek edge is 60 yards and the hillside 85 yards but on the other side of a deep creek (hence my furthest target is only 50 yards) The top of the first hill through the dense woods is probably 110-115 yards. The critters own it back there is the summer. 😆
Adding some case lights to the smaller Honda PCX 150 (smaller) scooter next. It still tops out at 74 mph. 😛
