Cricket shot strings?
Has anyone done any chrony testing with the new Crickets? What FPS are you guys getting “out of the box”.

Anybody happen to know if the Cricket can shoot 10.5gr crosman pellets in .177 caliber in the 950-980fps range?
Crickets from Czech Rep. are probably set to 10 Joules due to more easy legislative… There is included couple of o-rings, quick fil pin and of course another hammer spring 😆 This is information from our guys what buy first batch of crickets.
It is adjustable via the knob at the back of the breech, – but only minor adjustments seem possible. Seems max fps with JSB 18 is around 880 fps. I have commented in my comparison thread……. 😉

Is the power adjustable on the Cricket? If so what is the max speed with an 18 grain pellet.
Im thinking of getting one in .177 and hoping to shoot 10.5 grain pellets at around 950-980 fps
Here’s an image of my first Cricket string, – from 200-100 bars (green zone) on the gun’s manometer…..:
X-treme spread of some 10 fps (top 867, low 857) if you forget shot no 1 and the last two shots. Pellet JSB 18.1 grs.
860 fps with 18.1 grs equals some 29.88 ft/lbs……..
More strings to follow……… 😉
IDD!!! Robert wants to know if it uses more air per shot from 300 -> 200 then 200 -> 100 bar. 🙂
It had already been mentioned here on the forum, and Ed confirmed too.. From 300 to 200 bar, it uses MORE air per shot.
But let’s see on paper!
AND don’t forget to write down the airpressure in the tube while making the shootstring, that would be interesting to!
