Q:

Cricket Skeleton Stock

Looking for bull pup skeleton stock. Seems that someone bought them all up. Trying to decide whether to get rid of the Cricket or try to lighten it up. http://talonairgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=30567 Only way to do that is lighten the scope and skeleton stock. WWAG had them but like I said, someone snatched them up. Anyone have advice where to find one.

The problem is the oil field everyone jumped in to the make big money,,,
But a good Carbon fiber Cricket stock would weigh about one pound,,,
If I could find him and un bolt my cricket frame I would do it in a heart beat, Be about 200 dollars and it would be an exact copy…..
He used to back in the before the boom make exact copy’s of bike parts for me at the time I thought he was a little high but looking back he was dirt cheap.

Hey Mike..a full CF stock is a supremely good idea, especially if it was close to the original design!

Keep us informed if you have any luck. I’ll bet a group order wouldn’t be hard to put together if the price was right!

If I found one of those plastic stocks at a good price I am sure I could take some weight off it and still make it look good…
Just saying,,, How does that go forum over fashion,
I had a friend that used to make super lite parts for Race bikes (Motorcycles) Took the stock part and made a exact Carbon fiber part copy ????
I am trying to look him up now,

I think its about time someone start making quantity production of good light stock for cricket (and other bullpups for that matter). There is clearly very good market for it!
Matt?

Awny, I swear I havent forgotten to make those Walnut stocks……but the fishing has been sooooooo gooood. :fishinghole: :fishinghole:

See it’s times like these that I wish I was a multimillionaire. I would contract for about 10 thousand of these stocks to be made and sell them for about $50 each. I wouldn’t be the only one loosing a few bucks!

And just how much is it worth? 😯 For $500-600+ I will have a custom walnut stock hand made.

It seems they have been scarfed up and WAGG took them off their site. The only bet at this point may be to entice one from a private owner with enough $$$.
