Q:

cricket stock weight

Have anybody actually weigh these things? (Yes, I searched and found nothing). I have the tactical model, and the stock is VERY light. I can’t imagine the skeleton or walnut bulldog stock being much lighter. The rifle without the stock is HEAVY, adding the stock is not noticeable in weight.

So does someone actually have the weights of the 3 different stocks in grams?

I weighed the walnut skeleton stock at 1.4 lbs. and the synthetic stock with the 4 mag holders at 3.4 lbs. The 4 mag holder weighs 4.2 oz.

I removed the 4 mag holder from the synthetic stock as I viewed it as extra baggage (weight) that I didn’t need to carry…but then I’m old and decrepit….

Finally got the answer I was searching for. A whole 2 lbs difference, WOW. I just refused to believe it! The tactical stock felt so light…. I’m going to have to weigh it myself then.

Out of the box weight of my totally nekkid .25 synthetic was 8.8lbs. The scale is always the very first thing a new gun hits when it comes into my possession.

the difference between my tactical stock and my walnuts skeleton stock is huge don’t know the exact weight but the Walnut is much lighter.

This the wst even long version feels half the weight of the std tac s

I know that my compact .22 with a synthetic stock with the mag holders is at 7 lbs. secoda has a .17 compact with a skeleton and he’s saying its around 5.5lbs
Charlie from WWAG would be able to tell you the exact weights. when i was buying my cricket he went and measured all the stocks. and the compact and the std .22’s
then called me back with the weights. i didn’t take notes on it so i can’t remember. but I’m will to bet he would have it right on hand.

He goes by charlie in lagrange on the Yellow

I have tactical stocks on both crickets and the 25 cal is quite heavy I have to say. I would have to handle each gun side by side to actually feel the difference. Sometimes weight is best understood by picking it up and feel how heavy or light it is. Balance does make a bigger difference than weight. That’s my observation of it. The 25 cricket with tactical stock feels front heavy so I can’t imagine adding any weight to the front. Now that’s only me. You will have various opinions I’m sure
