Crosman 1377 Seal Replacement
The seals seem to have died in my 1377, or at least it isn’t building any pressure at all. Is it difficult to replace these? Is there a link or or instructions somewhere? Thanks for the help.
I bought this 1377 23 years ago. I have had more fun with this air pistol than any other gun that own.

I knew the CH measurement; I figured the R in RCH stood for Rat; and by my interpretation, the smallest measurement would be NMRCH. Llama should be able to provide exact measurements.

a CH is a unit of measurement… just a fraction of an inch… a RCH is even smaller.

Steve… couple things to look at….
It’s likely the pump cup that is worn. If so, when you get it apart, let me know. I have extras.
Be aware that when you knock out the pin, you will need to hone the inside of the tube out a bit… knocking out that pin is no joke. Best to just knock it out and replace it with a pin with E-clips.. you can then drill it out just a CH and then slip the pin in and secure with Eclips. Will save you lots of heartache. If you dont hone out the insides well, you will likely nick the pump cup, or the seals upon reassembly and the process will start all over again. I also have some spare seals, I think, so when you get it all apart, let me know before you go buy anything. I like to use 600 grit to get the rough edges out, especially from where the pump linkage moves, and of course the holes for the pivot pin… then take a 12gauge cleaning ‘mop’ with some JB bore paste and polish out the inside well… clean it all with denatured alcohol and let dry. Use just a touch of silicone oil to get the valve and pump cup inside to avoid damage. While you’ve got it apart, may as well mod it a bit…
Shave off a couple threads on the valve, put a lighter hammer spring in, port it out a little and polish the port, and do the icemaker tubing transfer mod…

You can call crosman directly and get the replacement cup. They don’t cost much at all. As for the replacement its a snap. You gust knockout the pin at the front site and pull the plunger out. The cap slips on the end of the plunger arm.
