Crosman 1701P PCP PISTOL
I own one of these now and it has some great benefits, primarily amazing accurate.
Doe any one have experience doing a trigger job on this pistol?
After the first stage uptake, there is some rough creep to the shot release.
Anyone??

If it’s anything like the 1377 trigger – remove it and gently polish the sear contact into a V shape from a square edge. This retains the hardening but reduces the friction. Do not let the metal get warm/hot.
There are drop in trigger+spring jobs available.

The Crosman 1701P silhouette pistol uses the newest Crosman trigger frame and the Marauder pistol trigger components. It is a true two-stage trigger and is infinitely adjustable. This is the trigger setup that everyone who has a regular Crosman is waiting to buy.
I’m surprised you are having problems with yours. Perhaps there is a burr somewhere that some TLC would fix.
