crosman 1720 vs. marauder pistol barrel?
Is the 1720 barrel much better then the marauder pistol barrel?

Yes, much better in my experience. Not as pellet fussy, either. Set up as a carbine, I was getting one hole groups at 20 yards with JSB 8.44 and 10.34 grainers, RWS Superdomes, Polymags, and Hunter Extremes. When I had my P-rod, I only got decent groups from the H&N Field Targets. Everything else was lackluster.

Both are small and compact, however, I had the 1720 but did not like the knock down power had. Quickly sold it for a the Marauder pistol and BAM! Not flying away or running off into their holes. Critters were Dead Right There! Then again, you might be a better shot than I am.
