Crosman 2250AS
…. UPS screwed me, it was all set for a Friday delivery and they “rescheduled” it for Monday 👿
So now I have a paintball tank all filled with nothing to go on

That’s a beautiful gun photo22!
– Did it start life as a 2240 or 2250?
– What kind of valve is in the tube?
I have the same grips on my 2240.
YN I had some thread do that to me the other day and I
packed them with valve grinding paste and screwed the 2
pieces back and forth until they meshed…..Worked pretty good….
Another option is to chase them with a triangle file…..
just as soon as you have her all tuned up and a fresh coat of duracoat backed on it your C-note is waiting 😉
Thanks Crowpopper, just what I thought for barrel length, and it sounds to me to be a very good gun indeed.
I did something I would NEVER recommend anyone do and lubed up the threads with moly and broke out a pipe wrench and my rubber vice grips.
540 fps with 15.8gr JSB’s and very consistent, only around 5 fps difference for the 15 shots I fired. Tank is regulated to 800psi, for the replacement I’ll be getting 850psi.
I didn’t do a string because the valve stem is leaking (air flowing out of barrel) and its way too noisy right now.
I was planning on replacement the stem with a Delrin one anyway because of the longevity and slightly higher power so that isn’t a problem – plus it got me around to stripping it faster.

It took a little more effort removing the tank than it did getting it on – which is to say A LOT of effort and even more totally unsuitable tools being used. Suffice to say I will be machining flats into the air source to paintball adapter 😀
thanks maw
it has a 14 in bl and i am getting it off hand at 15 yards open sights dime sized grps for 23 shots befor they start dropping
using daisy wadcutter and cp’s both 14 grainers it is getting upper 500’s and once in a while it will crack 600
that is outside where i have shot over the chrony and it has been below 50 degrees both times
so when it gets warmer i would think it will go a lil faster
Crowpopper, like the 2240, how long is the barrel and if you can let us know how it shoots.
The Mac-1 AS to PB adaptor sometimes will not work with the HPA tamks that are out today. Tim can machine it for you and it will work after that. I had to send two back to get re-done. The problem was it just does not go far enough down into the fitting to push the pin in. Some PB tanks it will work fine.

hahahahahahaha
I was going to say something like that 😆 😆 😆 😆
SAW
Definitely on the good guy list !
and if I didn’t like it… I’d just sell it to GTBJ for $100 😀
Ninj-
I picked it up of the yellow a while back, and shot it once, just didn’t like it.
That’s all I know about it.
Hope your happy with it, if not let me know.
Saw wants to remain on the good guy list
😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮
SAW
like the 2250 there
here is my 2240 from saw

Tank isn’t your fault.
I meant to ask – who made the adapter and did you get the gun from Mac1? – Just wondering because it has an extended fill probe, re-crowned barrel and has a non metal seal.
Ya know it’s pretty funny to see pics. of an ex gun that traveled cross country.
Glad your happy, sorry about your tank though 😥 😥
Hopefully your employment situation works out and ya stay here in the states 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮
Thanxs for your buisiness 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

It started as a 2250XT and Roy at MountainAir did the valve work for it to run on HPA.
