Cruising through youtube and came across this vid..

200 meter shots on a talon ss…. nice shots with High winds!

You also have to take into effect the wind…..

Nice shooting !!!

But I hear the rifle then the pellet hit so he exagerating the 1200 ft/sec.

No wait. The time the pellet plinks after the rifle report would be the average pellet speed.

Rough math (very rough) says the pellet averages 670 ft/sec.

So maybe it did leave the barrel at 1200 ft/sec.
