You had to know this thread would be calling my name…

A few of my customs…. 😉

Slow, the BSA Lone Star and many of their guns suffer from a lack of air tube capacity or low shot count.

The BSA came to me from AOA making right at 40 FPE in which it was shooting 21.1 gr Kodiak’s at 990 FPS on the 1st shot and would loose 10 FPS per shot which for a small bore is unacceptable hence the detune. 920-930 fps with 15.9 gr JSB’s gave me way more shots per fill

Air Arms 410-SL XTRA, Bushnell Legend and PS-22 Night Vision with the following modifications –

Audrius Regulator (100 shots at just under 20 fpe)
Adjustable Cheek piece
Quick release Picatinny rail for PS-22 and IR Illuminator

Very nice collection.

Could I inquire the reason for detuning the lone Star?

Well, this gun is one of the OLDER lower powered 32’s that jack used to do when he was still new in the game. His 32’s now are much more powerful and are made entirely different.

This one is very accurate with 310 RB’s. And yes, although i never MIC’d the bore, 32 can be .311-.312-.313 and the true 32 or 8mm is .323. But this gun loved 310 RB’s. I’ve shot smaller with this gun and ammo combo but 1/2″ – 3/4″ groups were the norm with them:

quote Tofazfou:

A Jack Haley 32 caliber with a Richards Micro Fit Stock. Gun is making 80 FPE with 45 caliber 310″ roundballs:

That’s an impressive collection of big bores, thanks for sharing. I especially like the stocks on the Haley 32 and the Corsair. (I cruise by your blog once in a while so I’ve seen how much work you’ve put into these.) Question on the 32: how accurate is it with the .310″ RB? Isn’t “32 cal” usually a little larger, like .313″, or is Jack’s “32 cal” really a 30 cal (.308″)?

The most impressive part about this gun is that it also shoots 45 caliber roundballs as well!! Ha, just kidding, couldn’t resist.

A detuned BSA Lonestar 22. Went from 40 FPE to 30 FPE with a spring change:

A Dragon Slayer that was modded to 240-250 FPE. Original 20″ 50 cal barrel was swapped out to a 454 caliber 24″ TOW barrel:

A Jack Haley 32 caliber with a Richards Micro Fit Stock. Gun is making 80 FPE with 45 caliber 310″ roundballs:

A 80 FPE Talon gun modded to CONDOR status:

A Jack Haley 457:

A 2240 with AC custom parts and a 14″ barrel from Mac-1:

A Corsair 308 with Richards Microfit Stock and other parts:

A Benjamin 22 Disco turned into a Crosmods Disco 22:

A Logun Solo that was 22 but now a .20 cal with stock painted in black bedliner and some internal mods:

A Rapid 25 with a few internal mods and now a new stock. Gotta do something with that black bottle though:

Nice Rc, cool gun, I just dont get them personally, no offense to anyone but I love airguns and like the thought of maybe getting a pcp that has more 25 power than I need for pests . But the firearm barrel pcps getting 2 shots per fill I dont need, cant shoot, and would never use. But I know you put that thing to use though so very nice.
Any other guns?

Another toy when really big things need to be killed with air power.

I redid the entry level stock to add a cheek piece

The Ranger 45 shooting 420 grains at 812 FPS. Two shot group is with one fill.

It fills to 4350 PSI and has three power levels. It will also shoot the same round ball at 3000 PSI low power that Col Walker was killing Apache Indians with in Texas 175 years ago out of his Colt Dragoon, which is 141 grains at 1000+ FPS.

But all in all this is my favorite bullet.

Hey AIRFORCE guns CAN be in this topic fyi but I didnt just want to limit it to airforce guns so I put it here.
Nice set up Rc, and you only get 18 shots with the classic tube? Thats not very good, I was gonna say you could get the classic tube and hop up the power maybe use kodiaks but….hmmm
anyways still very nice and awesome on the 108yrd shots :thumb:

I have been using a AA S410 quite a bit. I have used it birding this season.

It is the carbine with the side lever and classic tube. I get 18 good shots with one fill and I carry a Pygmy bottle and pellets in a brief case. That gives me 150 -160 shots without needing to come back to the shop.

It is so very accurate, but does not have as much power as I am used to in the Condor 25, it makes 30 FPE with 18.1 JSB. As a result a lot of birds fly off in a cloud of feathers.

THere is one tree that is 108 yards from my deck, I have a sr12 reticle and a printout taped to my 6×24 Hawke scope, which I keep on 10 power. I have made three for three now on birds in that tree.

At 38 yards it is a one holer and at 50 it shoots in the .3’s. It is also a fine gun for shooting those big fat garden slugs.

It is a nice little rifle, I just wished it had more power.

When I’m out and going to be gone a while and in the woods.
I take my benjamine discovery 22 caliber single shot. It is light 15 good shots to a fill without a problem, it’s cheep to buy and easy to pump back up, and If i intend to stay a day or 2 I take the pony tank with the 3000 pound fill, and about 3 fills in pellets, and that is as bout of a chepest gun I know of that is reliable. And I don’t even have it scoped, I can hit a squirrels head at 25 yards off the sites. No better survival gun in the fields than that, and it’s cheep and fun to shoot. 😀
