Custom Scope Side Wheel
Hey guys if there is anyone interested in ordering a custom side wheel for the side focus knob here is a Eric Sanders 90mm wheel (also available in 4″ and 6″). I am ordering 2. Ville has expressed interest in at least one. If anyone else is interested we can get a group price. Individually the wheel would be $100 (90mm and 4″) and $15 for a custom fit hub for YOUR SCOPE. No universal loose fit. The wheels a very light weight (less than 1.5 ounces) and nicely machined goodness. Available in polished aluminum or sand blasted/mat black heat paint. I haven’t got the group price yet. Im hoping if we have at least 10 wheels we can get a good price. Post your interests or questions here. The top picture is a 90mm for a Delta Scope. The next 3 are 4″ models for the Bushnell and Hawke Scopes.
You can also get a custom tape made with yard markings.

I just got into FT. I do a lot of hunting. Synopsys would be the guy to ask on FT.
For hunting the standard 4″ wheel has been plenty.
Demp you do a lot of FT so you would know, but I’m just considering the benefit over the stock focus knob. The 90mm has to be 2-3 times better than that, right? The wheel is still lower then the elevation turret…so its more comfortable to adjust for elevation with gloves on. That should be enough for hunting…my purpose. I have a range finder and have no penalty to use it when necessary.
Yep, typical price for a 6″ wheel. The offset makes it effectively an 8″ wheel actually (5″ diameter offset by 1″). 😉
He has also done some work to make it lighter and add a knurled lip at the face. I requested the heavy version without the knurling. I wasn’t concerned about the weight because I had to add some to make the rifle shoot better off-hand.
With a 4″ wheel you will lose the wheel’s effectiveness out past 30 yards…….. Bigger IS better for this. :8:

Demp and Secoda….I think the wheel that synopsis has may be $100-125. But that’s a guess, not a quote. Maybe I can ask Eric and express our interests in that model as well??? Maybe he will offer some discount on that as well….but I don’t know.
The wheel that is available at this price is the design I pictured at the start of this post. The only thing that will be customized is the hub for your scope. If you are interested in anything else, I’m sure Eric will be happy to help you. But, all three….BLACK, WHITE, AND POLISHED are available at this price. Also, 90mm and 4″ are the same price in this design. Any other sizes will have to be negotiated with Eric.

hmmm. That is interesting for my case as well. Any pictures on one like that mounted? So you rotate it down in the case?
I like Synopsys offset unit. One in black for my Hawke Sidewinder Tactical.

thats fine…id be willing to pay the extra for it to be powder coated for me….my question is do i get to choose the design or are they already made with a set design

id like one for my hawke but i have no clue were to get it powder coated cause im assuming it comes plain aluminum right?

If it’s just for hunting then the 4″ is not only big enough but also small enough to not get in the way. I was speaking towards it’s ability to range accurately, obviously a rangefinder would be the best option for getting the correct distance in the majoirty of hunting applications. 😉
Rangefinders are illegal to use in field target…
