WE have to pay VAT or import duty on everything in Norway too exceeding a value of NOK 250 (about USD 40)………..
Thats why Ebay sellers and friends are bombed with requests to label parcels as “gifts” and a low customs value………..

We too have to pay VAT on everything over EUR 40-45 or something like that.
I just got a new bow + sight + arrow rest + release from the US total value above 1,400 USD and theres NO WAY I pay VAT on that… shipped as gift, declared value of 400 USD.
That way I pay something (about 100 USD) to the government but I dont feel like I got the dikk showed up my arse.
