cz barrels
Am I reading this right, The shorty will be coming with a CZ barrel?
Do I have to wait until the old stock is all sold before getting one with a CZ barrel?

Yes Dman1114 is the guy who supplied my barrel that is featured in my Mutant review video. At the end I of the video I was able to shoot soda cans and a 12 gauge shotgun shell at 183 yards with that barrel. It’s good. If you re-watch the video you’ll see I tested the 15.89 JSB, 18.1 JSB and the predator standards (16 grn) at the three 50 yard targets. When you see the accuracy I think you’ll agree the 15.89 are perfect for the regulator and barrel.
So Dman is the man to see to order these Twain, er Taiwan barrels from? Are they a direct replacement or is machining/custom fitting required? Just asking out of curiosity. These Taiwan barrels are pretty good? Do they seem to have a pellet of choice or are they not pellet-picky? Again, just curious (my brain is a sponge; it sucks up info, but it leaks it all away! )

Dmans barrels are superb. Honestly I don’t care if they are produced in Twain. They are super accurate and I am not about to screw with somthing that is working and working real well for that matter. I do have an opportunity to up grade to a CZ barrel fitted for this gun and rather cheaply for that matter and I have no interest. There have been many stories about CZ barrels coming and I have spoken to some folks I trust and they say they will be coming. However many of the current Baby’s are shooting great with the orginal barrels. Baby is my favorite .22 and I have owned a few pcp bull pups. I believe you can get a barrel for the Baby from Dman if I was you that is exactly what I would do.
Any source for barrel only?

I think you are going to have to wait for awhile. If I were a dealer and I had these guns in stock it would take me about a New York minute to order barrels from CZ. But I’m just an end user, what do I know? The CZ barrels cost 60 euro…
