I know what you mean. the Daystate will be the last one I will sell (not unless I buy another). But if the offer of 4k comes along, it’s bye, bye Daystate. Could buy another for that kind of $$$.

Beautiful Walnut stock and 40 shots basically through same hole at 50 yards with one fill. No more needs to be said. lol
I took mine to the range to try different pellets, first pellet shot 40 shots through a ragged hole put the rest of my pellets away!
I will always own a Daystate!
It’s not to loud. About like the Air Arms, maybe a little less. Maybe a little louder that a Talon SS. Much more quieter than the Falcon or FX.
Depends on how friendly your backyard is. If talking about living in the city, your neighbors are going to hear it. It won’t be loud and a couple of houses down they won’t hear it over the other city noises.
In rural areas where sounds carries further (well at least can be heard further), they will hear it further away. Had an neighbor all most a half mile away said he could hear me shooting the FX and Falcon, but than again he has very good hearing.
You can always make any air gun more backyard friendlier.
How loud is your huntsman is it backyard friendly?
I own Air force (2), Falcon, CZ, Air Arms (2), and FX guns, but the Daystate (Huntsman) I own is better made and shoot more constancy. All guns are straight out of the box.
Nothing wrong at all with the other guns, they are just not Daystate’s.
As for grouping, all six of my high-end guns group better than I can shoot. The Air Arms are lacking against the high-end boys. But they only cost half of what the others did.
Total overpriced Junk! Just kidding I never touched one.

I never have figured out where the weight is coming from on the wolf though. Or why the FX 400-500 is so much lighter.
