Q:

Daystate valve stem removal question

As some of you know I have been having some issues with my Air Wolf and whilst it isn’t anything serious it is annoying. Basically, and I didn’t know this, it is not uncommon for various Daystates to have the O Ring in the valve stem dry out and crack and I am 90% sure that that is what has happened with my Wolf. Anyway, I have removed the valve assembly, but can’t seem to get the valve stem out to change the Ring. It is a small silver tube inside the stem with a flat screw head, but screwing it in or out doesn’t seem to remove it and the fit is too tight to try and pry it out.

Any ideas or thoughts? I’ll try and post up a picture later if that’ll help any. I already posted up on the Yellow and will post on the Daystate Owners Forum if there is no joy here, but I know that you guys will know what to do.
