40 shots with an extreme velocity spread of 14% to 26% of the max velocity.
Compare that with the Daystate 50fpe that gets 40 shots within 45fps of each other, or less than 5% of the max velocity.
No way the poi is going to be consistent with a 140-250fps spread.
Do you see Ferrari making a mini-van? π
Six years is how long it takes to make something right. It’s Daystate’s way and it’s how a quality rifle is produced.
You can bet that if Daystate ever makes a semi/full auto pellet rifle it will make the Evanix look like a toy (their bullpup already looks like cheap chunk of shit).
Let’s see…
$1800 for the Evanix bullpup
Or
$2000 for a Daystate Air Ranger
Hmmm…
Compare their performance and then ask yourself, is a semiauto really worth the loss of performance and reliability, shitty ass stock, shitty cheek weld, unproven action based on a airsoft system that is know to have long term wear issues, unregulated, an fps spread than only a mother could love and a moron could ignore…
Only someone who is brain dead would buy the Evanix over a top quality Daystate for what is essentially the same price.
When they become available; I will order one. If I can get one in 25 cal, I will be all over it. If a 25 cal isnβt available, I will fit a 25 cal barrel to it.
A 25 cal shooting 50 grain swaged bullets at 900 fps for 25-30 shots would be interesting to have.
I would make a bull pup out of it. I looked into making a bull pup out of an Air Wolf but, there were just too many issues to overcome.
The Wolverine 303 shoots 47 grain pellets at 1000 fps and gets 25 shots at that speed. I think a 25 cal should get somewhere around that many shots also. The Wolverineβs air tube would make it easier for me to have the forward scope mounts needed for the planned bull pup made.
The Wolverine was supposed to be available here in April; I have Edguns and Iβm used to the waiting. Until the Wolverine gets here, I will just keep on shooting my Matadors.
Daystate wouldnt put out a semi-auto because the ALL know that no one would be able to afford it…and yes- I WANT THIS RIFLE!!!!! π but it’ll probably cost 3-4 times what the Rogue costs. of course, i wouldnt buy the Rogue. I dont think id even take it if someone gave it to me… and if i did, i’d convert it to shoot Jerry’s slugs, single shot, and modify that hideous body…and maybe up the reservoir size, re-write the motherboard….wait, then it would be the Wolverine π
The .303 Daystate may “kill the Rogue”, but after an alleged six years in development to not have a semi-auto puts Daystate behind the curve. Probably a case of a brain-dead marketing department telling engineering, “Don’t bother with semi-auto, nobody wants it.” Yeah, right. Evanix will end up eating everyone’s lunch.
Wait till you see the .303 Edgun π
That will rip everything apart! π
I need to get my allowance raised.

Well, there goes more vacation money, but Daystate is a passion.
