It definately is got good balance, I’ve been thinking of the small 1300 tank due to the wieght, I would really like a lighter gun for the field.
Mine is went like this just to keep the balance right.
Hammerli 850Mag=6.65lbs stock with 88g C02 tank and 8.95lbs with 9oz C02 tank, M.B. , scope foam filled stock with two small 6” bolts. With 22ci HPA setup 9.20lbs total.

I had an 850 for a while, loved it, fabulously accurate and a wonderful gun all in all, I just found the gun too “flimsy” It really wasn’t, but It had the feeling of being delicate, so I bought a dedicated workhorse, the talon SS.
Yeah Roald will do all the work and it’s still a good deal. He and I along with others are the R&D on the 850 😀 Lots testing was done and he was the leader on the pak.
I’ m going to call that place Python referred to me and ask them if I ship a gun to them if they’ll do it and for how much.
No hassels on modding the 850’s all the R&D is done it’s really simple to do. It’s a great way to go if one is looking for a Multi. shot PCP.
I’m thinking of doing the same but you know the hassels you run into plus it would be a 1st time I had a gun apart since I was 14 almost 50years ago I’m just looking for an easier softer way out.
Man…..that is tempting but it’s the first gun I modded all my self and it’s just to sweet to part with.
would you want to sell it to me just like it is for $600.00?
Mine was around $340 total cost when it was all done. Things are a little more now.

I was talking about the carbon shroud or muzzle brake, I talked to Reold today and we are going to get things started,Its going to be a 22 , 2200 tank, 1500psi reg., with a Rich M or Mich Q shroud, whatever that means,And tuned, and I bet after I get the scope and the fill adapter I,ll be $600.00 into it.
