The last memory I have of the answer to that question was the demand for the multi rifles was to be satisfied first, then the magazines and multi kits would start to get factory attention. With limited resources, the main product has to get all the man hours before the accessories can be addressed.
The demand for the multi shot rifles still seems very healthy, and might have a ways to go before it evens out. Likely sometime later this Summer or Fall might be a good guess. Then again, it might be a bad guess. The .30 is now in the mix and the situation has changed. There may be a backlog for .30 to be met, especially if it comes out in a multi-shot version. In Edworld, things change a lot from one week to another.
However, this may be a blessing in disguise, as Ernest, ‘Ride, and other forum members, have proven most efficient in finding solutions to some of the new product bugs that needed to be sorted out before the kits are as smooth as their potential allows. Better to get a well functioning kit after a long wait, than to get a rougher prototype model sooner. After all, Ed’s Research and Development Beta Testing Department are his customers, and the incredible lust they have to take a good thing and make it better, if not perfect! Who could possibly do a better job with that? These people are relentless in their quest for perfection, and all of us benefit from their sweat and efforts.
As always, patience is a must when dealing with Ed’s products. He’ll get around to it soon enough.
At least that’s the way I see it, and it’s been that way for a very long time.
Regards,
Hoot:
When are the multishot kits going to be available?
Venerable Uncle Hoot,
I hope ED is not making fun of you….
You know when he says “They all dream…” could mean many things…..
I know a lot of people whose dreams actually became nightmares….. and the R3M owner know what I’m speaking about ๐ ๐ ๐
Hope you will get your Lelya very soon, so the chickens can rest in peace :fishing:

That story is priceless. I love the guts on the skylight part. I have a fat lady next door too but she is nice and has shot my guns a few times. My son shot a rabbit with an arrow that died under her deck and started stinking. ๐
Give us the big picture show on the Leyla when it arrives. ๐
My Uncle Ed said he was going to ship me a .22 Lelya! I’ll have a nice Lelya and the rest of you won’t! I’m getting a total knee replacement on 4/1/14, so if Tony gets it in on that date…. you mutts keep your dick-skinners off my Lelya! Of course, I don’t expect it to arrive that soon. I understand Ed is hand-building it himself at home, on his own time, while being watched by the KGB. What a swell guy to do that!
Only if I croak on the table, will Tony let bids be taken on the “Hoot Lelya“…the fact that it almost belonged to me will increase it’s market value considerably.
After the operation, with only one leg to stand on, arthritis in both hands…it is the Lelya alone that will allow me to shoot my neighbor’s chickens…one handed, at night, right in their stupid beady little eyes!!!
As I sleep peacefully at night, after my operation, I will dream of chicken brains splattering all over the side of that fat, mean, old bitch’s house! She hates me. She hates air guns. She hates air gun shooters, but mostly…she just hates me!
Last year, I caught a lot of fish one day from the lake behind my house. I cleaned them for supper. I tossed some of the guts along the shore for the raccoons to eat, and hopefully keep them out of my garden, where they dig for worms. Well, the raccoons didn’t come that night. The next day there were a hundred vultures along the shoreline fighting each other for a beak full of fish guts. Two of them landed on the roof of the lady next door. She has a skylight in her roof. To her horror, two vultures had a tug of war with a big strand of fish guts in their beaks, right on top of her skylight, as she watched! One of them pulled so hard, it shit all over her skylight. I thought she was going to have a stroke! She called my wife, and demanded that I put all future fish guts in a sack, put them in my freezer, and keep them there until the garbage man comes.
I can still hear her screaming on the phone…”DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR VULTURE SHIT TO WEAR OFF MY SKYLIGHT???” Well, to be truthful, I don’t know the half-life of vulture shit, nor do I care to learn. I later found out it has much acid, and it took all Summer for it to wear off her skylight. I didn’t put my fish guts in a sack, or freeze them either. I threw them further out into the lake for the other fish to eat.
She always watches me. She doesn’t trust me. She told my wife that I’m always up to ‘something’. (This is true) So whenever I throw guts into the lake, I know she is looking. I am very happy when I throw fish guts in the lake, while she watches!
I’m in my 70’s, and not much amuses me anymore. But…if there is a heaven, there will be an ugly, fat, mean, old bitch living next door to me, and I will be able to shoot her fancy chickens, and throw fish guts on her roof, and vultures will shit on her head! And I will be happy.
I’m not a mean man. I’m just hard to amuse!
Regards,
Kindly ‘Ol Uncle H ๐ฏ ๐ฏ t

We have to admit that from that point of view the man is a genius and if we add no customer support then we have the ED business model.
He throws out bones and then waits and see. :fishinghole:
So at the end, maybe he is not the brightest of manufacturers but for economics and personal finance he plays in the first league ๐
