Delivery of Colibri
Received my delivery from Fed-Ex. Well boxed. Surprised there were two guns in there.
After opening it up and lining them up with the Cricket .22
Weighing the guns. The HB Synthetic being the lightest.
Comparing them in length. The Cricket is shorter by about an inch +.
One thing I recommend doing is using loctite to secure the bolt. Another thing is I thought these HB come with two magazines per gun? Going to call WWAG. So far, the guns look great. Took a few shots with no blowback. It is slightly quieter compared to the Cricket and no pinging noise (My guess is b/c the tank design/location). Will shoot more this weekend.
WWAG was very kind to throw in a T-shirt, hat and 2 set of cleaning supplies. O-rings and fill probes came with the pkg.

How does one go about mounting a bipod on this bird?
congrats Perry. that is one sweet collection. But now for the big question.
If you could only have one…? I know you’ll have to get more trigger time on the Birds, but once you do that, your answer would be interesting.

I received mine today also. Mine only came with one mag also, I called Steve and he said that’s all they came with . also that his cost on the mags are $60 . he’s going to talk with Kalibr gun about the mag prices.
I’m putting my Panasonic 4-12×40 AO on mine also with Burris rings .
Hopefully I’ll be able to crony if this weekend.

Prolly a good idea. 500 to 1000 pellets through it wouldn’t hurt. Good break-in period.
Nope. Just plain ole’ factory. I’m going to shoot them first before considering any tuning.

For now they each sport Hawke Panorama 4×12. I’ve been spoiled with SWFA 3-15×42, first focal plane and side focus I may just sport them with another set. Or keep playing the lottery to sport them all with March scopes. :biggrinn:
