detune kodiak
i have a beeman kodiak, it is a .22, the old style(english). i bought the gun when i was dumb and just wanted more power from a springer. well more power from a springer sucks!!!! i was wondering what i need to do to tune it down to about 20 fpe. i have done a tune already to the gun just smothing and polishing and synthetic greese and it helped but i think i need a weaker spring but do not know if that is the best way. i guess i was power hungry befor i got into pcps and to me springs and power above 20 fpe just do not go togeather.

If you cut off a coil of your spring, remember to file the sharp end flat with a bastard file or a dremel. If one coil doesn’t do it, try another coil. There’s no reason to spend money unless you don’t have a spring compressor to get the dang spring back into the rifle.
Careful and don’t rip off a finger or put out an eye!
