Did some testing on my .25 Condor SS
Got this new Condor SS .25 last week from R&L Airguns and have been having fun shooting it and getting to know it. I went through a tin of 350 in three sessions.
First thing I noticed was it was a little louder than I hoped it would be. Also when pulling the trigger you could feel the springs rubbing and causing a slight dragging feeling but it still broke clean at 3-1/2 lbs. The safety works easily enough and is no problem for me. I did have one issue which was the top hat working loose and was spinning on the stem. I didn’t know what the factory setting was so I set it to where the breech closed snug and loctited the setscrews. I did email Tony about his valve stem and may still get one at some point but for now I want to shoot it as is.
After reading about different mods I decided I would try the Poor Mans Regulator oring behind the top hat and see what the results would be. Right off I could tell it was a lot quieter. In fact the muzzle report was almost non-existent with only the hammer slap making noise but it was also a lot quieter. Very nice. Just what I was hoping for.
I then set up my chrony and ran several strings through it to find a sweet spot. I was shooting for 900-950 range with JSB 25.4’s and I got pretty close on my fourth string. So here are the results.
2950 psi fill, 40 shots from 900 to 931. PW 8.13
When I had it at 940-950 I lost several shots and when I had it in the 850 range I gained several.
This gun is very accurate at this setting and I have been plinking at 100-125 yards to figure out my mildots. Picked off two blackbirds, one at 125 and one at 110. Gotta love it.

The more I shoot this gun the more I like it. Already ordered a Wokbut from Adam and am thing about a different pistol grip, and Talon tunes adjustable tophat.
Hope this helps anyone interested in the Condor SS .25.
