Luckily R&L took it back and refunded my money.
I wasn’t dumb enough to rip it apart and fuck up the warranty.
It was sarcasm :winkn:
I got blasted by several members when I was saying ” wait for the gun to come out before you call it the best gun out there,…because it has a CZ barrel”
Priest, …where is it ? what happened to the best gun out there ?
First of all I was one of first to get this gun before the reviews, which was a year ago now!

It should have never been released! It should die and stay dead and buried! There’s a reason it dropped off the face of the earth!
You kidding right ?
Didn’t you hear all those people telling you how the Priest was gonna be one of the best airguns out there ?
You should listen to those guys, not your own experience
Also was the FUGLIEST gun I’ve ever seen :biggrinn:
My Priest was by far the worst air gun ever made.

The 25 shorty is just bad to the bone, I got a fat boy on it from Donny, Looks good bad and all the other stuff, Bad means good ,
I got the red adjusters on the HST, I also got a fat boy on my 22 Mutant, With the pretty red stuff.
You know how picky I am about my stocks, If it fits screw it, Function over form , or something like that.
I got a 6 1/2 ” on Cricket 22 and a 7” inch LDC on 25 Cricket , I think both came from Donny,
I would love to get a 22 Veteran long , But I need another PCP like I need another hole in my head, And I got five new holes in my mouth and a mouth full of stitches
Mike
Fat boy is going to fire a missile at you for posting that,

Hey Mike,
How do you like that Veteran .25 Shorty? I put a DonnyFL “Sumo” on mine, and it is dead quiet except for the hammer slap. Seems to pack a punch. Did you ever use a chrono to see what fps you were getting?
I honestly can’t see any reason to ever get rid of this gun. I don’t like the stock, but that can be altered.

I just emailed R&L the other day, they said that RTI was waiting on parts to assemble. So it looks like they’re still available… Not sure how long the wait is though.
New model will likely be called “The Excorcist” no?
:winkn:
Looks like it’s still available to pre-order another round from R&L Airguns. Not sure if they’ll actually be shipped or not or if perhaps they’re waiting to get enough pre-orders to get RTI Arms to make another batch???
If you were a machinist it doesn’t seem it’d be too awfully hard to create some sort of side cocking lever to actuate the bolt probe. Of course I’m not sure I’d want to compromise the “receiver” any with any additional holes and/or extra leverage it was not designed to withstand. When I was looking into buying one many moons ago (about a year ago now) I was still quite new to PCP’s and had no idea the kind of cocking effort it would take to cock it as-is. Now that I know better I am certain I would have been none too happy with the effort it takes, especially if your fingers are already cold from the weather.
No reports of any missing digits nor bodily harm that I’ve come across, though the possibly over-zealous warning was placed out into the world on other forums. Trigger, not what I would have been happy about. Also LOUD for what it is and the way it’s shrouded…or barely shrouded.
I wonder if they’ve made enough money to deem it worthy of investing in a version 2 or not.
Mike, maybe the Priests lost the attention of some due to allegations against them from guys who had some past involvement, as reported in several newscasts lately. 😉
so where is the gun at now, Is it in limbo, Still being made.
Is the factory talking to us to see what needs to be fixed?

I think the Priest had a lot of potential,
I just do not think the makers had the cash flow to correct the small Mistakes ,
The gun was accurate it just needed a little refinement .
Owners of the gun, Please correct me if I am wrong,
Mike
