can a nitro piston be pumped up or lowered as desired ?

Sorry, they are not adjustable. One pump fills the chamber and locks it until the trigger is pulled.

A friend bought one, the Trail I believe. It’s .22 and he says it packs a real punch for a pellet rifle. He lives in Florida and is constantly shooting critters and snakes with it.
