Dirty Talon
After about 2 years of shooting my Talon with a RL shroud, I decided to clean the rifle. I have been shooting Crosman 10.5 gr. Premiers. I found the shroud and most of the main tube coated heavily with a silver residue. Part of the residue, I am assuming is graphite, since Crosman coats them, along with some lead residue. I assume this is part of the experience of using a shroud, blowing air back into the tube.
I was wondering if there is some way to trap the residue before it gets back to the hammer area. Also, when I clean the tube, what would be a good lube to coat the tube’s interior.

Dry and clean is best no reason to use anything on the inside of the frame…good luck
