Do "THEY" sell SS w/24" barrel?
If I get a condor, and have to buy a regular air tank, that would cost around $750. If I buy a regular SS + a 24″ barrel, that would be $700’ish.
In either case, I would have a component that I would have no use for, I guess they are easy enough to sell on web. What i want is a SS w/24″ barrel to shoot at 35-40fpe in 22cal.

I shoot it with a shroud. Set at 950 with JSB’s, it is pretty loud without a shroud. Never tried the lower settings.
That sound super! Is it loud? I’ll find out soon enough. What if you dial it down to 700fps on the standard tank and 24″ barrel set up? Is that loud? If it’s reasonable, I might not need the 12″ barrel.
I had an unshrouded cyclone, and I didn’t think it was very loud at the lower velocity, but that is subjective.
I have a 24″ barrel on a standard tank. Turned down, I get 60+ shots at 950 fps with JSB’s. Turned up on almost full power, JSB’s will go 1050 fps, I never did an entire shot string on full power, but it seems about 30-40 shots. Kodiaks on full power go right around 950 fps.
A guy is selling a used 24″ 22 cal barrel, what velocity should i get with a standard tank using typical JSB exactas? I might try some Kodiaks also. Of course I want some bigger power than my 12″ SS set up.
But how about noise? I suppose I can dial the 24″ barrel down to plinker velocity and that should be quiet, right? Anyway, I’ll know for my self once they guy sends me the barre.

I’m gonna buy a 24″ barrel and use that for a while.
I’m not sure exactly what parts you would need but I would imagine it would be a new (lighter) valve return spring and a new stem and top hat.

Mac1 sells Condors with a Talon Tank and valve. That might be a good choice.

I don’t know, you can do that? If it was a matter of changing some minor parts, I could do that.
What if you bought the Condor and then bought the components for a TSS valve?

The 2nd hand 24″ should be here Friday, so I’ll learn soon enough. Noise isn’t a big issue with this rifle, I have several that are quiet. I plan to use this one with my shooting friends at a 50 yard range, and I think the extra power will help compared to the 12″ barrel.
I can always put the 12″ back and have it back in suburban sniper mode in no time….
