Q:

Does anybody know the ballistic coefficient of a 150gr…

Remington core-lokt? Would it be possible to use chairgun or a similar program to plot the trajectory out to around 600yds?

Looks like it is .314. It is the 150gr pointed soft point. Thanks for the link. 🙂

I think that it is .331. I got that from Remington’s website…here’s the page:

Thanks for the replys guys. Its is the 30-06 core-lokt. They sure do a number in the deer. I got one at 250ish yds lasts season. I held right on top of his back and it dropped right into the spine. I probably won’t have another shot that far ever again where I hunt, but its fun to know just in case. Thanks again!

If you are talking about a factory loading, check the website of the ammo manufacturer; many times they will have velocity/trajectory tables for each loading they sell, out to 500yds.

TGTEER, which bullet exactly? MidwayUSA.com has the info on them. But there are different 150 gr Corelokt bullets. Like ones for a 30-30 and pointed ones for like the 30-06 or .308.

Chairgun doesn’t work for that. It won’t do velocities over 1100fps, and bullet weights over 100 or so. (I think that’s right).

There are programs similar to chairgun that will do it.
