Does the R3 stock come with any type of oil / sealer on it?

I wish to make mine a bit darker and need to know if there is anything i have to remove first.

Thanks, the stock stock had a little too much CNC look for my taste. I thought those sharp edges were a little painful too.

Yes sir….there is a clear varnish on the stock….use some sort of a varnish stripper and you’ll see it bubble up, than all you need to do is scrape it off.

I re-stained mine darker also
