Don Cothran-2240 PCP tube w/Don Cothran power valve
only thing I had to put on the tube was a .177 barrel and bnm breech. scrounged a hammer and spring for it also. I had shot this a valve a couple times with my 25 cal barrel full power it’s monster. I’ve stuck a couple o-rings in front of the stem. That slows it down some. Transfer port .180, and a cut up hipac 3k spring. I chronyed a mag full of 8.44 jsb. Filled it 2900 no gauge with this setup so no end pressure. 1st shot chronic err one of the chrony thing was in the shade I guess. Pulled it out in the sun light started over with a full 2900.

Not having a lot of luck silencing my .25. I’ve still have the option of venting the shroud. I’d rather dump the shroud if I could find a ldc that could quiet it down in the mid 80sdba lol.
mik , dba 95 really isn’t that quiet my last springer was shooting at 96 dba .Too loud for me , I gave it to my brother .

Sent off the shrouds and had them modified now both have 1/2×20 adapters for LDC. went from 109dba down to 95dba.
Thanks birdman, one would think so. .25 (silver airtank) 7.2lbs. .177 (blacktank) 7.13lbs. Still working on making the .25 back yard friendly.

Finally got my bottle guns squared away. Top one 25/2240 fill3400/1600out shoots a bunch of shots around 710 jsb .25.3g. With scope 6.13lbs. Bottom 177/2240 fill2900/1400out shoots a bunch of crosman 10.5um 780 with scope 6.4lbs.

Picked up a gauntlet hpa bottle modified my drop down adapter to use the bottle. Mounted it on my .25 2240 bottle gun.
I pulled the o rings from in front of the valve stem. So bottle pressure is 1250psi it’s shooting .25 jsb 25.3s 836 fps. Just to damn awesome perfect gun. :4:
