dovetail angle

need to order dovetail bits for my mill, need to fit a piece to the stock tri-rail/scope rail. Anyone know the angle on the dovetail, 60 or 45 deg? I think it’s 60 deg but want to be sure before ordering cutters.

sounds like 60deg it is for the scope rail (yn/my guess).

Good guess shrp, actually my protracter gave me exactly 58 degrees on tri rail angle.

I just looked at my Talon’s Scope rail and it is NOT 45 Degree’s. Cant tell what it is, but it sure isnt 45.

Order both. You will need them both sooner or later.

That is how I got both of mine. I never remember which one it is so each time I cut rails I have to look and pick between the 2.

So get both.
