Dr. Bobs N550 Adapter Sony Lens vs. Pulsar x1.7 – Photo
Chancers,
The difference in the x1.7 Teleconverter Pulsar vs. the x1.7 Sony is startling, it’s so much better, I would recommend you make the switch. It’s brighter and you can focus at closer distances. Plus it looks a lot better.
I purchased the adapter on Ebay from:

He’s good seller, no worries.
Let me know what you think.
By the way, I did get my first Coon here, but didn’t post. Keep the vids coming.

There are two Dr Bobs adapters, one adapter fits the unit to the scope and the Sony lens directly. The other adapter, you attach it to the first adapter and then the Pulsar lens.
Sony lens requires 1 adapter.
Pulsar lens requires 2 adapters.
The eBay seller is selling both adapters as a set for $100 with shipping included.
I picked up the Pulsar lens at Optics Planet, I purchased the demo unit for under a $100. This online retailer is about 2 miles from my house, so I drove there to inspect/ purchase the unit .
