Drilling Handguard for Sling Swivel Stud
Guys, I’m assuming that it’s just a matter of drilling the hole just big enough to screw in a glue-coated wood-style sling swivel stud, for use with a Harris-style bipod, correct?

Cricket, yes it’s plastic.
In my experience, yes. However I was told not to use glue due to the fact that wood is a living material, instead you should after tighten if neccesary a week of usage later. But that was for a rail and not just a stud
But maybe it is not wood?

A two-part epoxy is best in plastic. You might consider taking it out and applying the epoxy then reinstall the stock screw? How long is the screw?
