Droop Compensate for differences in bore to optics?
I have a Talon and a 3X9 Bugbuster with low mounts and have almost run out vertical movement in my scope. Going to try another scope but feel I will have the same problem. I have a Talon SS turned down to 600fps.

I use Sun Optics adjustable rings, gives you windage and elevation.
On my BR guns I have Sportsmatch adjustable rings, also windage and elevation.
They keep a zeroed scope at zero.
I picked up a set FX No Limits rings from AoA and they work great. They have a full 2 degrees of adjustment for crazy long shots or in my case just keep the reticle centered with plenty of tension on the erector. Kinda spendy at $85 and worth it IMO.
Otherwise i’m guessing that you may be reaching out to far for whatever weight of pellet you are using at only 600 FPS. A small shim under the rear scopeount would correct it some but too much could slightly bend an inexpensive scope. I would think a shim the thickness of two sheets of paper, or a business card or better yet I had used the clear plastic from blister pack packaging. Now I use an adjustable droop picatiny rail.
BTW shim between the mount and tge frame. Not at the scope.

I used adjustable rings to sight my Talon at 10 yards. There was no way to shim the scope enough.
ChairgunPro from Hawkeoptics.com is probably the best advice. It is a free program and the reason I eventually bought two scopes from them. You can use it with many different brand of scopes.

Hi,
did you check your barrel? Maybe it is slightly off center?
Even the with the bushings in place, when you tighten the retaining screws you might offset it enough to be noticeable.
I have 2 TalonSS with low rise rings and I have not experienced this issue.
Also make sure the mounting rings are the same. Sometimes they machine them a bit different. Swap the back with the from and that should help.
