Drozd Blackbird
Anyone know much about these birds? I have one I bought before they stopped shipping them that is basically new from Drozdmax with the 1200 auto board. I am thinking of selling it but have only seen a few crazy prices for them out on amazon ($750-999 used). Any information on value would be appreciated. I really nearly forgot I had it but was cleaning my closet. 😆 I only shot it a few times and then focused on PCPs. It was setup for HPA.
I posted this on GTA and was offered $550 in less than five minutes. I suspect it is worth more.

i used to shoot mine in the basement, till i shot a window out, the wife was out of town at the time i took the window and got it fixed.
till this day she still has no clue! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
I still got a nick in one of our windows from a BB that bounced back from target at 10M, eye protection is recommended at those power levels. Lead BBs improve the accuracy and power quite a lot. I still got a pouch of nickel plated ones somewhere.

That is funny. I got a few squirrels and some birds with several flying but didn’t shoot it much. You could take out all of the windows on the side of a house in a few second burst. 😆 Steel BBs can fly a long ways and still take out a window. 😛 I never tried lead balls. It’s too bad they are so hard to get.
Yes – with HPA the power is quite a bit higher than CO2. I think it was over 500 FPS and 20 BBs a second can do a lot of damage.
With HPA, longer barrel and more voltage you can easily get over 800 fps. Some guys even went supersonic with their guns. Even 12 fpe and 20 shots / second is rather devastating. I once took a magpie and it was mostly blood and feathers after a 1 sec or so burst.

Wow, I didn’t realize they were going for that kind of money. I guess I’ll hold on to mine then. Offered it in a trade for one bloke but luckily he declined. They are nice toys and even useful for pest control. Mine does 240 fpe / second:

Hey i checked the link to the bbmachine gun forums and it looks like the interest in the sight has grown with the announcement that they have moved to a new hosting service but will try and keep the old one up for archive as long as possible. It looks as though camracer is a primary person behind those forums
It is good to know that he hasnt faded and is still doing things. I think he was one of the big experimenters working on the ebos board prototype. Cool cool cool!
A few years back I wanted one checked around, Seemed like 750 was the going price with one decked out with a tank and all.
And there was something about an upgraded board . Oh well the full auto BB gun want, past pretty fast .

put your gun up 4 sale on this board, it’s where all the droze guys hang out.
u can sell it there and find out whats it worth, and you’ll have a better chance of getting top dollar there good luck, and merry Christmas!

Now thats strange that the powder burners manage to get past the Obama Russian Arms Embargo but a bbgun doesnt? What about their 10 meter rifle or the competion air pistol? Maybe EAA is more inclined to challenge the embargo with some loophole than a small jobber like DrodzMax working from a home office. They in more of a position to work the system? But seems that Pyramid used to sell these too and now no longer does… Wierd weird weird! For the price and demand that these are receiving now, you would think someone would be an opprotunist and would find a backdoor to getting these in at least single unit qty from the mother land or something. It is just a bb-gun! I think the big thing was that the embargo was against specific manufacturer…. What if another manufacturer was able to get license to manufacture the same thing. Maybe thats how EAA does it?
