Dueling Mac1 LD’s
I just finally finish a shroud for the other Mac1 LD. It has a 10″ barrel and can give 2″ groups at 50yds.
The shroud has no bafflle but does have a series of 10 holes drilled on the bottom on the front 1/3 and 2 at the back in front of the frame. This allows for the air to vent and quiets it down a lot without the hassles of baffles. It has a bushing at the tip of the barrel which is milled flat on 2 sides to allow air to pass to the rear of the shroud and exit out the vents in back.
The end cap was drilled to .259″ and the gun was not able to make 1 hole groups at 15 yds so I new it had to be clipping. I check and could see a very slight line on the end cap. I re drilled the end cap to .278″ and it returned to 1 hole groups.
Now I have 2 of them set up the same. So when I go shooting with my son we can have a great day

Thanks,
They are really accurate and consistent. I am really happy about them. I shoot the LD at home far more then any other airgun. It is quiet and super accurate.
