dumped co2 cylinder
seems i lost about half of my co2 when shooting my talon today. any suggestions!! i actually shot about 30 times before i dumped the cylinder. this 16oz. cylinder has about 150 shots out of it. thanks (rookie) kingpin

I call mine, “the crack pipe”. When I first got it I could not get enough, like I was hooked on crack or something. When I had air and pellets, I was on top of the world.
Then one day I woke up to see what I have become…
I finally thought I hit rock bottom when I didn’t have time to even print targets.
I was so out of control I just made dots on blank paper with an old sharpie pen that didn’t even make black spots anymore.
Then I dropped further down …
I ran out of air, due to a bad co2 tank ( thanks pyramyd) It was a very low and sad time.
Now I do the best I can day to day 😥

never thought about a pellet that was not seated ! bet that was the cause thanks kingpin
I had it happen with air. I took a shot and all the air rushed out. I found it was caused by a mis-seated pellet The pellet failed to go down the barrel and keep enough pressure on the barrel side of the valve to keep it open. I know this is what happened because the pellet fell out of the breech when I opened it, and it was mangled like it tried to go in the breech sideways. I suspect it fell out of the barrel after I closed the breech. I tried a few more pellets from the same tin and found more that would fall out with the gun pointed skyward.
may have gotten a little piece of dirt in the co2 adapter and stuck the valve a little open
i just sqeezed of a shot and heard a loud hiss. it dumped the cylinder complete. ill change cylinders and try again tomorrow! dirt ? kingpin
Ive never had that happen, can you tell us more about what you were doing when this happened?

P.S. when removing the co2 adaptor I’ve had a co2 tank leak, is this what happened?
