EDGE AND A.F SIGHT HELP .
A.F. has a universal target sight set that I just bought which is the same as the front sight on the Edge . The inserts are 20 mm not the standard 18 mm O.D. The inside aperatures they offer are 4 , 4.2 , 4.4 . I need to get down around 2 and go up . Here is a link I found for makeing the inserts but I have no lathe . The other alternitive is a bushing with a step in it to hold the srandard Anschutz 18 mm inserts and slide it into the 20 mm tube . Can any one help me out with this project . A.F. does not know when they can make a complete line of inserts or the adapter . Marvin

Thanks . I did get a hold of him and he said he would try and make me a couple with as small of holes as possible so I can enlarge them as I need to . I really would like the bushing so I could use all the ones made for the anschtz sights . If any one would like to give it a try please say so . Trust me when you guys buy the edge you are going to want to do the same as well .Marvin

I did not buy the Edge . I bought their universal target sights that they as well use on the Edge . I certainly hope some one will help with a bushing for this set up . I feel like I will be waiting as well as every one else for about as long as we have waited for the Edge .Be for A.F. gets a fix for this or a complete set of inserts . My conversation with them today was not very re – asuring that it was even remotely in the near future . I will say I mounted the set on my Condor and liked it but need the smaller aperature . The rear will take the European standard aperatures with the 9.5 x 1 thread but they fell asleep on the front set up . Marvin

Do you know how to get in touch with him . I think the bushing idea might be cheaper and easier . Who ever buys a edge is going to want to have smaller aperatures as well .Marvin

Sam I hope to have more pieces late this comeing week and I will try things again . I will say that they gave me a good check weld and accuracy was good under the large diameter aperature I was useing . 12 shots the size of a dime hole at 16 yards . I hope the wind calms down again and I can try some 50 – 60 yard shots as well Marvin
