The only thing that would change my opinion would be them producing the “Bobcat” as a market killer for the Benjamin Marauder, and coming in at under $500 USD!
Dear Hoot;
Don’t be surprised when you hear this, I can sell me Marauder between $2,100 – $ 2,500 with Leapers scope 4-16X50 and Plano case, which i bought from PA in Dec 2011.
but they haven’t seen Edgun yet(I mean peoples here), i have no idea about my future Edgun R3M. !!!!! may be $4,000 or $5,000, :8: :8: :8: :8: :8:
let me tell you another thing,, all of you guys in USA know what is CZ Rime-fire rifle!? if you go to buy the highest one i think it will not exceed $600, isn’t it?
Hoot but if you have the lowest CZ Rimefire which is worths almost $380 and can send me to Iraq, i promise you i will sell it for you with $5,000 π― π― π― π― π― π― π― π― π―
Please all US citizen be thankful for your US laws π π π at least you can with providing licence and gun sertificate you can buy or collect every type of rifle (if i am not wrong) π³ π³ π³
Cheers from Hemn. M, Pretending he’s not trying to finding the way to import his dream air rifles and he’s not waitign for his dream Edgun ( I took this speach from our big brother Trygve, sorry Trygve i really like this, whenever i remember this i will laugh)
They could have knocked 3″ to 4″ off the OAL by simply moving that ridiculous butt stock up where it belongs, and put the trigger forward. Then you would have a very short and light bullpup. Probably coming in at close to a light 24″ OAL. That would be a big help. The whole premise of a bullpup is to make it perform like a full sized gun, in an ultra compact design. This thing isn’t quite a bullpup and not quite a real short long gun.
Further, are there no trees in Sweden? Why turn this half breed out with a dull plastic stock? It looks like shit on a white horse! (..with apologies to white horses everywhere!)
They were SO CLOSE!!! Why didn’t they call, ask us, or at least let us respond to their prototype design?

If it comes in at the estimated $1650 to $2000 USD, it won’t stand a chance against the Edgun and Cricket.
It’s not too late….cut three inches off that butt stock, and move the trigger forward!!!! Save yourselves before it’s too late…
After the recent developments with EDdie I’m thinking of selling my MS/SS Edgun and buying a Bobcat, not for shooting but as a wall hanger, just to admire its beautiful curves…
It is indeed butt ugly. Shoots fine though. But,like said, not a Gun for me.
I think I get what you’re saying Hoot. Click on image to enlarge
I have a guess…FX is trying to build up a market demand, before the price release shatters the dreams of 90% of the potential buyers.
Guys….this thing has the sex appeal of Old Goat dressed as a one-legged woman, wearing an eye patch. Barring a belt feed, a semi-automatic action,
or weighing in at under 5 lbs, I cannot see where it brings anything to the party!
Now…I have never spoken one negative comment on this forum, nor have I ever lied, or exaggerated, in any way. However, I will state for the record, this
gun is “Fugly”! It is likely over-priced, and members of the Swedish Federation, I have heard, secretly have congress with fat girls.
I remain….

So why, exactly, is the price of this plastic thing so secret?

The Bobcat feels much bulkier than it seems. I didnΒ΄t like the plastic Weaver rail under the fore either. Did i mention i feel itΒ΄s one of the ugliest guns ever made. No thanks for me.
I like the Beluga whale π it’s growing on me. But would prefer the Bobcat model if I had to pick one. The Matador(29 inch) although only 2 inches longer than the Cricket(27inch), does look like a tank compared to it. Thanks for the pictures Rossall, looking forward to reading the rest of your review.
Due to the design it looks like the FX barrel is about 4″ shorter when the rifle overall length is about the same…
I’ve never shot the FX but the EdGun ties the Cricket in looks but the Cricket feels way better when shooting offhand and bench resting…
More on that Indy what u think?
Man, don’t tell FX owners, but really really the FX bullpup is has an ugly design, and i believe Edgun is Miss of the World Then Cricket is a Second.
Hi,
I have a cricket and an edgun. How does the Indy compare in the noise/sound department? The Indy looks like the shroud is a lot shorter than the regular Indy.
Thanks,
Gabe

There are a lot of things I don’t like about the FX Bobcat.
I’d suspect in actual use it might be boringly competent though.
Even so pass the Edgun please.
