Q:

Edgun/Cricket slings

Does anyone have pictures of how your Matador/Cricket looks with a shoulder or single sling? Looking for ideas for trekking through the woods. Thanks!

I certainly hope Ernest tosses some food and water down into his basement now and then. John can’t live on good looks and metal shavings alone!!!

I can’t post it, the picture happens to also contain a top secret attachment that John is working on to offer us later on for the Cricket 🙂

John Hagan created a really cool attachment for his Cricket, he uses the one point sling. I might look into that. It attaches by the scope rail.

Do you have a pic of John’s attachment?
I am curious how would it fit without interfering with the scope or applying force on it during various carry positions.

I wish I can get a skeleton stock somewhere. They are on back order for months now on WWAG. John Hagan created a really cool attachment for his Cricket, he uses the one point sling. I might look into that. It attaches by the scope rail.

Or wait for your skeleton stock Danny. Who needs a sling for a 6 pounder. Ok 9 with scope and bipod 🙂

Seriously speaking I thought a lot about a belt for my cricket (as I do 6-10 mile hike in an average hunt), but the gun size and frame makes it hard to find a workable configuration that is comfortable (for me) and easy on the gun. Its clearly more practical on the longer stocks. I am open to ideas though.

Dear Donny,,,,

Contact Ernest and his poor friend in the basement ,,,they will make it for you guys in US ,,,it is not that difficult,,, a piece of aluminum and that is all,,,, this is the best idea to avoid your guns from stock drilling,,,

Gracias Brother Hemn! No where to buy that piece 🙂

That’s a nice piece! Donny if you find someone that can make it I’ll be down for two one for my cricket and one for my edgun, both stocks are drilled already but I wouldn’t mind to have that, looks pretty slick!!!
