Yeah, it’s a big expenditure you’ll have to do some shopping on. The high priced ones are nearly 70 bucks!!!! 😆

Only time I’ve ever had the police called to me for shooting a pellet gun (I’ve always had permission from neighbors, it was someone who just happened to be nearby) I took the condor inside and brought out my old pump up gun. It was funny because he seemed a bit confused when he asked if I was shooting a bb gun, and I said yes, and he glanced over to my target of 2×4 backed with 4×4, and all of the 2×4’s had 1/4″ holes blown through them. He didn’t say anything though, and told me I wasn’t supposed to shoot airguns in city limits and to go buy a pellet trap and shoot it inside, where it was legal.

Hey Lama, I know what you mean. I usualy do the same. The county cop was very cool about the whole thing. We got to talking about guns, concealed carry,Illinois doesn’t have it and he is for it, and our future ex president (I hope) Obama.
Haha, when talking to people who I don’t want to know the power of my gun (police called to the house) I usually like to just let them think I’m insane for spending so much on a pellet gun rather than know it’s like a small rifle. 😆
WARNING!! This is a late night, drunken and rambeling post.
It got up to 77 here today. Got to take my Edgun out. 2 pigeons, 2 starlings, 2 sparrows and a ground squirrel. I ranged the GS at 69 yards. Got the GS using the official Edgun factory sanctioned method. I was in a place where I was not susposed to be, in a parking lot and shooting from my truck. I had him sighted in and was taking up the trigger and then stopped to check things. Good thing that I did! I would have blasted my outside rearview mirror! Raised the gun up about 3 inches and got him, then hauled ass!
I love my Edgun! It is so much fun to shoot but, I can see that it is going to get me in trouble one of these days.
I have all ready had the police called to my house, the young city cop came busting onto my property, yelling “hey bud what do you think you are doing”. I had to inform him that I was leagally shooting my gun on my property, that I had talked to his chief a couple of months back and, was told as long as the pellets stayed on my property, I was fine.
He didn’t believe me, I told him to call his chief. He said that he didn’t want to bother him, at home, on a Sunday, I said why the fuck not, you didn’t mind bothering me. I offered to call his chief and he could talk to him, that didn’t work either. He told me that if he found out that I was wrong, he would be back. I asked him that when he found out that I was right if he would come back and appologise for being such a dick. Didn’t get a answer.
I also had the county cops called on me. I was shooting pigeons at a local grain elevator. The elevator manager asked me to control the pigeons there. A county cop pulled up and told me that he got a call about a guy shooting pigeons with a “high powered rifle”! Fortunately, I had talked to the same guy, a couple of weeks before, about shooting there.
He told me that I was OK, just call the dispatcher and let them know when I was going to be there.
He thought that I was nuts for spending $1500 for a “pellet gun”. I told him what it could do and he said “you could kill somebody with that thing”!
For you Edgun owners that have the moderator endcap with threads, get the $99 screw on moderator from Tony. I have one ordered and have been working on my own design. After a couple of false starts, I have one that works very good (it is quiet as can be when shooting under bridges) and actually improves the grouping. VERY interested in seeing how the factory one does!
