Edgun incoming

Okay so I ordered a Edgun Matador R3M .25 :biggrinn:
Like all of you will know. When you have a new airgun coming there are not enough reviews, hunting vids and forum topics on it to quench your thirst for info :biggrinn:
I bought the Eddie mainly because of people’s posts about it (Keyser Soze espesially)… The way people described the build quality, reliability and accuracy has me hooked.
I owned a Edgun R3 .22 for a while, and it gave me brilliant accuracy, but the rave about the .25 knock down power has me interested. I also like the multishot feuture, because I mostly walk and stalk while hunting (squirrels, pigeons, egiptian geese, starlings)
So I know the gun had been talked about alot, but I would like to ask a couple of questions:
*Will I be getting the “Gen-2” version with the improved multishot breech?
*How rough is the cocking, and will it improve over time?
* What accuracy can I EXPECT from it?
* What are your genral thoughts and feelings on the gun?
I live in South Africa, so the gun is being imported from the USA by a importer (costimg me an arm and a leg). The Eddie will probably only be here in 2 weeks time 🙁
Needless to say, I am excited. In fact, I am shaking with excitement just typing this :winkn:
.
Cheers David

Thanks Keyser.
Yes, Matt explained in his videos that they are tough, but I dont think he emphasized it enough. I have hunted them a few times, and if the shot is not PERFECT they run down holes. I have shot one that fell off a 25m cliff and still managed to scamper into a hole.
I also orderd 3 extra magazines to have a nice and complete package. Will they be plastic?
That accuracy will be great. Realistically I dont shoot past 100m, because I enjoy stalking close.
I have a few new permissions where European Starlings have exploded in numbers. Really looking forward to it.
Must say Keyser, that R3 .30 of yours looks great, it is the perfect caliber for small and medium game. If it was multishot I probalbly would have bought one of those instead
