Edgun Lelya Silencer Adapter
Hello
I have a Lelya which has a threaded female end to take a silencer via an adapter “Im in the UK silencers are not a problem”.
The problem is i have a few silencer all 1/2 UNF but i cannot find a silencer adapter to fit the lelya and a 1/2 UNF silencer any advice please?

Just as I suspected, I received a 12×1.25 when I needed a 12×1

Ig….TAP THE SON OF A BITCH TO FIT ONE OF YOUR ADAPTERS!!!!! Then, you can add an LDC and move on with your life.
You don’t need to know what thread size it is anyway, because adapters for it don’t exist in the Western Hemisphere! Russian law prohibits this information from being released to the general public. It’s the same metric thread size that holds their MIRV nuclear warheads onto their missile delivery cones.

I have a set of mm taps and dies but this is an oddball size! No way in hell my local hardware store is going to carry this shit. If a Edgun representative can just give us some actual specs, that would be great.

I believe you are approaching this from the wrong end.
It will be simpler and easier to re-thread the Leyla shroud muzzle. Any qualified machine shop can change the threads over to match one of the adapters you have. Have you contacted Neil Clague regarding this? Why not drop him a PM and ask for his assistance? Seems it would not be that big a stretch. It’s aluminum and is easily re-threaded. You can buy the hand threaders at most hardware stores and they are used to re-thread steel!
It seems the more difficult part would be finding an LDC for the Leyla…again, Neil is the go to man for this kind of work.
If you can’t get the Leyla to come to the mountain, bring the mountain to Leyla. Or, something like that… 🙄

New Lelya (2015) will not have threads as per Ed. It will be fitted with a large eccentric moderator. Man that sounds bad ass…
