Oh, one quick note: On the gen 2 Leshiy, there is a little lock screw holding the trigger stop. You will want to loosen that before removing the trigger stop. It is on the top of the trigger guard, so you will need to remove the trigger guard to get to the lock screw. Since there is now a lock screw, you could use just a 20mm replacement spring plunger instead of the 16mm replacement with an additional set screw to lock it. You may be able to use the lock screw with the 16mm spring plunger instead of a set screw follower, but it depends on how far in you turn it.

For those with an overtravel problem, how much additional travel do you need? You can get a little more travel with a spring plunger like this one. You probably lose a little crispness in the break, but it might be easier than having to do more work on the trigger. Or does the trigger need to stay back when cocking? I do not yet have a Leshiy to try it on, so I’m just guessing.
Can anyone confirm if this is the part to use? If there is a more perfected part, can someone please post a link?

Looking to try this mod on my Leshy’s but I am unclear on what screw to acquire.
All I have found is a 4mm by 10mm long. Wingman posted 4×20 is that thread pitch or does it take a 20mm long ball screw ?
Want to get this right if I start ordering so most of what I have found is FleeBay out of slow boat from China.
Of any one has some for sale or can let me know a better source I would love to hear from ya.

I used this on my Matador R3M trigger sear contact points and it made a world of difference in the smoothness feel and it a lot more consistent.
Using it on all my trigger work and hammer spring guilds too.
Clean out all factory grease with denatured alcohol before applying a very small amount to the contact area(s).

Just a quick clarification: is the screw M4 fine or course pitch (.5 or .7)?
It seems this is the case.. I will look closer at mine soon and find an alternitive as I really dont like the leshiy trigger as it is
I tried this mod on my gun. When I got the screw where it needed to be for the trigger the gun would not cock for me. I don’t know if some guns are different or not.
I have managed to do the mod
Got an m4x16mm ball/spring screw and then put an m4x4mm behind it .
5 minute job and didn’t do any adjustment to trigger internals , cocks fine and works a treat for me and as I like 2 stage triggers this is so so much better for me now

Wingman, have you found what needs to be done to adapt that 2nd stage mod? It works on some Leshiys and it does not work on others. Why?
