Q:

Edgun Leshiy with LW polygonal barrel

Hi Guys,

I just got in a Lothar Walter Polygonal barrel in 250 mm for my edgun Leshiy. Has anybody here ever used these barrels? And what were your results? FYI, I bought this barrel, and Huma sub 12 fpe reg from Airgunheaven.com.

Reason I’m asking is that my results weren’t very good, could definitely have been me rushing shots etc etc..

Thx in advance
Jamal

Thanks and keep us posted on how your Leshiy and barrels are working out

Taipan is a brilliant gun from what I hear. Have never held one. Leshiy on the other hand is just robust and has some uniqueness to it. Good luck making your choice.

very cool and thanks for the update.
Still kicking it around if the Leshiy will be my next purchase or Taipan. Not really sure if I want a bullpup or not.

Leshiy is definitely a one of a kind.

Hi, yes I have many other barrels and DEFINITELY using the correct end. Only one end has a small crown. Anyway I’m pleased to report that it was me with my ability. Leshiy is very and I mean VERY hold sensitive. I managed to stack 10 pellets at 30m with the new POLYGONAL barrel today so I’m well pleased.

Still a bit more work to do though…. am waiting for the another Leshiy valve stem so I can cut down and use the new huma reg. 95 supposed shots at 12 fpe. Ooh the rats gonna hate me now.

Cheers
Jamal

Breech side has a deeper chamfer to load pellet, the crown on the end of the barrel is smaller. Airgunheaven.com mentions this on their website.
I have only read about this as I do not have a Leshiy. I am really thinking of picking one up and have been watching videos and reading every article I could find. I am really tossed between Leshiy and Taipan Vet. Compact.

What’s the difference?

Are you sure you have the ends correct (breech / muzzle)? I have heard of people putting Leshiy barrels in backwards

Oops it was .177.
