Q:

Edgun Leyla Availability

Just curious if anyone here has asked about ordering a new Leyla recently, I am sure Tony is still very busy so I’ll ask here first.

I actually received my .22 Lelya yesterday and it sure is nice.
I had placed my order about 9 months ago and was told it would be delivered by the end of this summer but delivery turned out to be december instead.
This is such a neat little gun and it will be my drive by shooter on the rabbit fields 🙂

There are not many being made right now so I was lucky I guess… and as Hot wrote, the few ones available are in (eastern) Europe.
I dont see myself getting rid of this rifle ever… EVER!

I had one for a short time (177).

They are really, really, really, really, really small.

Did I say really small?

It’s essentially a miniature Matador apart from the sliding breech. 😉

It’s really small.

I suspect you will be told no Lelyas are available at this time, due to demand for the Matadors.

However, I suspect they are available in Eastern Europe, a little closer to home. In other words, not a lot of them available for export at this time.

For every Lelya sold, many many Matadors are in demand. This is what I suspect is the main reason for their scarce availability.

I’ve always wanted one, but every time they became avaiiable, I didn’t have the premium price being asked. You must realize for $1500 you are
getting a 24″, single shot pcp, with a valve and regulator originally designed for the Edgun Veles pistol. It’s still a dandy little pcp with more
power than one would suspect. About 20 fpe I believe.
