Q:

Edgun Matador .25: standard or long?

Hello

This is my first post here.

I’m new to this forum and am in the process of buying my first edgun.

I want the .25 caliber, but I have questions regarding the accuracy of the edgun standard and long.

What is the most accurate for long distances?

Thanks

EdGun

yes,,,my brothers have explained almost all points for you…and one more thing you have to know is,,,Long barrels are usually provide more powerful shots with the same used air that STD and Short Edgun can give give you…

so long Edgun version can give you more powerful shots and more shot counts as well,,,and the accuracy i prefer long barrels for long distances ,,, but i have no doubt that all Edgun versions can provide the same accuracy up to even 150 mtrs ,,, as per all vids by Eduard and Wingman ,,and others ,,,

The guns will be more accurate than you are capable of shooting. I don’t mean that offensively but it’s the truth. Unless you are a robot shooting inside the potential accuracy of the Edgun is beyond most human’s shooting ability. I like the standard. Im 6 foot 200 pounds but I shoot from all different angles and I walk a lot. I like the feel of the Standard better. I have both and the long is just a little long for walking. If the Long were my only gun I would get by just fine but I prefer the standard. If you are going to shoot a lot off a bench for me the Long is a little better. There is more room on the gun vice or shooting bags and I find the Long is just a little easier to settle into on the bench. When choosing an Edgun accuracy is not really a factor. Fit and shot count are the two main points to consider. The long will give about 20 more shots than the standard. The Standard carries better and it is better in the car. If you are going to put one of John’s aftermarket 1/2 UNF threaded shrouds for an extra LDC get the standard. It will help keep the OAL down.

Please watch this video from Edward himself, he talks about accuracy and barrel lenght.
You will be surprised 🙂
