EDgun Matador .30 standard

Are there any accuracy reports of that gun? Is it a MOA accuracy machine?
Is there anyone who sells them now? I am from EU.

I got the Standart set @ 850 fps, I get about 30 shots, I use this gun mostly for hunting.
Secoda how often do you clean the barrel?
Very nice. Is that moderator compatible with the original .30? How does the eccentric moderator screw on? I assume the angled piece is locked down and threaded?
I bet it still improves over time like mine did but that is a decent group anyways. I put 500 shots through before I even started grouping. The barrel on mine still gets dirty compared to smaller calibers. I never clean my .177s.

Please post some groups. 50 and 100 yards. Is this gun a way more silent than 6.35? Is it like 5.5? Keyser?

I bought two tins of the JSB 50s and accuracy is similar at 50 yards but the 45s just have a flatter trajectory. I have 25 tins of the 44.75s since they shoot so well. I mainly use my 30 cal for marauding raccoons and it dispatches them out to 50-60 yards very nicely (still over 50 fpe). The .30 cal diameter on impact adds to the damage compared to a 22 LR which often just drills a hole through.
It unscrews instead of pull off. Also the breach is connected from the bottom of the action, not the top. Some changes in the air channel allows for different pellets besides just JSB. The valve is bronze.
Only the barrel end of the moderator looks a bit different from mine. It will be interesting to hear how it shoots. The accuacy is good enough to nail sparrows off of a dead tree at 75 yards. They explode.
The new R3 .30 is one of the best airguns I have ever had the pleasure of owning (so far). I have had 2 range days, I am shooing the 44.75 at 885 and getting 28 shots. The ES seems to be holding around 2 fps. The gun is getting easier to shoot. I have to bench the gun just like a firearm because of recoil. The gun is super quiet and has an OAL of 32 inches. Sounds great. I get 27 good shots (more than enough for a squirrel hunt) at 875 fps on mine with a 220 bar fill. The noise is very low on my Gen 1 R3 Std 30 and more of a dull thunk noise. There is a light kick. I have the trigger set pretty light. Ricochet noise can be pretty obnoxious like a 22 LR.

Just got my standard 30 cal this week. It is shooting consistently at 890fps. Only varies about 2fps. Have only shot it about 60 times. Just getting the scope dialed in and poi vs yardage figured out. I did put a radioshack decibel meter one foot in front and one foot to the right at a 45 degree angel. The shots were all around 67 decibels. When my friend went 15 feet away 90 degrees from the muzzle the report did not register above the 40 decibel ambient noise. He could barely hear the unique sound of the gun discharging.
Is lowering the fps worth the shot count gain? I have not even worried about how many I get with my current setting, but I think it is around 20.
Trigger seems really light, but I can feel the first creep before the sear releases.

I have my Edgun Standard .30 tuned to 875 fps for 75 fpe. It seems to do the best accuracy wise there and I have never broken a valve stem with over 2500 shots like others who “cranked it up”. The only real issue it had was the big muffler had some very slight clipping in the front hole at the top on all of them originally that took about 5 minutes to fix. I am guessing it has killed over 75 raccoons now. Given how quiet it is set like this I would not change a thing at this point and the shorter size is perfect for hunting.
The main problem with the .30 cal is it destroys feeders and everything it hits so I stick to the .177 Baby Cricket about 90% of the time. :darth-vader:
Shooter Ari in Finland has them. If you can wait a week I’ll have my 30, it’s improved over the old R3 30. I’ll do a full review.

Every tin for tip top accuracy. Doesn’t matter so much for hunting but since I don’t shoot it that much it goes months before I use up 150 shots.
