Q:

EDgun Matador LDC

I PM’d Donny Du last Friday afternoon about making an LDC for my .25 caliber EDgun. He gave me his paypal email address and within 5 days of that payment his carbon fiber Moderator for EDguns was on my gun. I have purchased four or five LDC’s and Shrouds for various PCP’s I own and have owned. This was the fastest turn around I have ever had with any LDC or shroud I have purchased. The carbon fiber looks sharp and only adds 6 inches to my gun since you loose a half inch off the Hagan Modified shroud when you screw it on. It fits tight and looks great. Now my noisy noisy .25 Caliber Eddy is back yard quiet. Most of what I hear is hammer slap and the pellet hitting the duct seal in the my .22 trap.

That huge eccentric shroud for .22? Isn’t it overkilling?

No such thing as overkill on this topic. I expect these will be a must have for every existing and future Matador owner….

I wonder if all new shipments of R3Ms will have the new eccentric shrouds? If so, maybe it’s time to get a .22 shorty.

Shooter, not if you lived next to my neighbor :fishing:. My guess is one size fits all.

i also sent email to him 5 days ago and asked him the same question “if he can make the same .30cal shroud for .25cal”,,,, and below is Ed’s reply (I am really happy)

((It is being produced now, for .22 and .25, as soon as I have them available I will let people know. So it will be possible just buy them.

With the best regards

Guys, I think that pretty soon you will not need any custom made LDC on .25. Here is my conversation with Ed:

Is it possible to install a shroud from Matador .30 on Matador .25? I am talking about that extended piece.
Thanks!
Ed:
Yes, quite soon, we are making them now.

My dear brother Donny,

thanks a lot for your help,,,i know how great/helpful brother you are,,, and i know it is hard to send it to outside of US,,,that is why i didn’t ask you to make one for my .25cal Edgun (on the way) ,,but as i mentioned above i received email from Ed,,,he will make them soon and it is possible for all Matador owners to buy and install it easily,,, dose’t need any modification ,,,

Brother Hemn, I wish I could send you some but I am finding out it’s very hard to ship out of the country even the shroud. I am still learning on the lathe and milling machine but I am definitely moving in the right direction. As any machinist will tell you, the accessories for these machines are very expensive. They cost more than the machines themselves. So I have to buy one item at a time or else the wife will freak out when she sees the transactions. Not all shrouds and LDC are problem free but I am always happy to replace and get you back to shooting pew pew!

That would be great shooter. We’ve been interested in it since the .30 Matadors came out.

Which part are you confused about my sick and twisted magnificent uncle? The part where you sold me the EDgun (Wonderful Uncle) or the part where you toss an unsuspecting Ville in the wood chipper (Wonderful Magnificent Honorable Loyal Uncle) Ville shouldn’t be talking about Ratso lil loading rod Ville shouldn’t be saying nasty things about Ratso in German that Ratso doesn’t understand? Toss him into the Chipper Magnificent Uncle. :hoot:

stupid ole :hoot: sold it to me and bought a freakin wood chipper that he is going to toss Ville into next time he lures him out of Sweden to Toad Suck for a canoe trip.

Damnation Ratso….you say that like it’s a bad thing!!!

Gotta luv the lines of the stock. I think it’s one of the better designs. :8:

The more I shoot it the more I look at it the more I love it! The side lever action of the Vulcan is hands down a wonderful feature that this Edgun does not have but then again that bolt action is masculine as hell! The wood is luscious I might start sleeping with this lil baby stick it between me and the wife. This is a beautiful animal and stupid ole :hoot: sold it to me and bought a freakin wood chipper with the proceeds that he is going to toss Ville into next time he lures him out of Sweden to Toad Suck for a canoe trip.

Oak that shroud and LDC is generously vented! Wow

Yes it is vented generously. This gun belonged to our sick uncle from Toad Suck it is an early inheritance. Give while the season of giving is yours and not your inheritors the Uncle bellowed with his hand in my pocket. This rifle pushes a lot of air eelect. It needs venting. But it is nothing like my Condor fully opened up with a TT one piece Top Hat in .25 caliber that is a beast and that pushes air.

eelect did you get your baby?
