Awesome job, Robert!!!!! Congratulations!!!! Well done!!!!!!!!!!
I have an original Tasco World class, an original Redfield, and many old Leupold’s. It amazing how good all of them are compared to today’s models.
@oldgoat, the BSA Lonestars always do well at the 100m shoots, only possible exception are outdoor matches. 😉
@SECoda, if you look up the scores of this season you will see that Tasco World Class Plus scope users are doing well quite often.
The Price/quality relationship on these scopes is pretty near to unbeatable if you ask me.
Congratulations Robert with the awesome score and the lifetime membership of the 300 club.

Yes for win this competition you must be a good shooter in first.
So Robert thanks for your good job.
Good shooter plus Edgun give good results.
I see your taget’s results for 100 meters it’s very very accurate.
I think you can be selected for the navy seals to become a sniper…(lol…) 😉

Hi all,
Photo’s
There are not a lot of photo’s of the match.
The guy who’s usualy taking them was on a vacation.
There are some in this topic: http://www.luchtbuks.net/index.php?showtopic=81024
The track is one of the Netherlands finest.
Good light, no ventilation and….. a good canteen. 😀
Statistics
Till now only 7 persons shot 300 points or more in the 100 meter competition history. (shooting qualities are getting better rapidly though)
I am quite certain that I am the only one who did it without a permanent connection to a scuba tank. 🙂
All time record is 304 but I am not sure it holds this season.
Pellets
Yep, you are probably right, AA = JSB.
But somewhere in my head something is saying the quality of AA is more stable.
Time
There is not a lot of it.
the last month’s there was the harvesting season at my company: zero time for shooting.
For example: the last 3 matches I use the same box of (500) pellets and I did not fill my 6 liter scuba tank one time….
Shooting is fun.
Maybe in a next life I’ll have more time for it….
Regards, Robert.
This makes me be more proud of the Edgun, however still i don’t own it.
so, Edgun is worth the money, also, i agreed with SECoda, the right shooters could win with Edgun, Cricket, FX or Daystate, these are accurate PCP rifles, but maybe depends on the shooters,
and we quite sure the Edgun can always win with right shooter :8: :8: :8: :8: :8:
Hahaaa yes exactly, it seems to be 🙂
And the best -I’m going to get a R3M 🙂 🙂 🙂
And for what it is worth, the AA pellets ARE JSB Pellets! 😉
Don’t underestimate the skills of the shooter. In Arizona the FX Boss kicked butt in the Extreme Benchrest. I bet the right Shooter could use a tuned Matador, Cricket, or Boss/Bobcat and win. 😉
Congratulations!Ted in Madison just did a vid on the Bobcat .22 says it outshoots his Edgun??His main complanit like most everyone elses its ugly.
Just realized theres a post on this.Ted did rave about the trigger which looks like a sweet set-up
Congratulations Veerkracht…
Great job.!!!
EDGUN is the best choice in .22 and .25 and………next time .30 xxl
I test a lot of guns but I never see this performance in others guns.
The best accuracy.
If one day you are lucky to touch one Edgun, you need to have one for yourself, and
You will be happy for a long time with. (It’s like a seconde wife in your life…lol..)
Thanks Mr Ed for the pleasure you give for all of us.
I know you work a lot for all this results.
Take care .
Mika
Ps : don’t forget “one shoot one target”
Congratulations Veerkracht………
any photos of the competition? 🙂
Hi all,
Thanks for the congrats!
Today I still have a BIG smile on my head. 😀
The last couple of months I did not have the time to practise, the day before I only cleaned the barrel and sighted the scope in.
The ranking list says I used JSB, thats not correct.
They were AA 16 grains, unsorted, straight out of the box.
The speed I am not sure of, somewhere between 290-297 m/s,
I only go chrony when accuranty goes down.
The Tasco…. do not under estamate it.
It is an old type benchrest scope.
I think it is 25 years old.
Back then it was almost the best money could buy.
Japanese lenses, target dot, no variabel magnification, there is the 24X version and the 36X one.
I really like the target dot, 2 small lines crossing eachother and one small dot in the center.
Smallest groop of the day:

Done by Gertje, number 6 of the ranking.
9,5 Millimeters ctc….. respect!
Regards, Robert.
Lol.. they did bring a FX Boss though, which isn’t that what the Bobcat is a bullpup of? Jamie I have nothing against a Bobcat, might own one in the future as well if they make some changes. I’ll say it here because I know you probably haven’t heard it anywhere else but that gun is “UGLY”!!! Hahaha just playing with you. I know Sir Ville is your number one fan. Seriously though, I don’t mind the way it looks. I just wish that it wasn’t so darn long with the moderator on it. The moderator to me is required for backyard friendly plinking.
PS glad you finally got your gun :8:

That is the diplomatic way to say it. What Donny really means is ….. (insert a drum roll here) IT´S UGLY !! :8:
I bet the reason no one brought one for the competition is simply because it´d have been outlaughed by its competitors. Even those ugly BSA´s that look like a toad sucking a bottle would´ve picked on one. Brrrrhh … ugly – i tell you.
That said , umpteenth time , FX´s are good shooters and have those nice triggers to boot. What Fredrik Axelsson (Mr. FX) should do is to sack the stock designer for un-humane lack of judgement when drawing the stock and give the Kalibrgun stockmaker a call. I like the look of the WST (aka skeleton) -stock on the Cricket.
