Edgun Metal valve stem testing started!
Installed metal valve stem with Delrin seat on my .22 R3. no other adjustment made. all shots was cronyed.
speed of stock stem 880fps shooting 18.1g 200b fill to 105b 70 shots ES 12fps
speed of metal stem 895fps shooting 18.1g 200b fill to 105b 74 shots ES 9fps
Total shot today: 210
all shots are cronyed, when I see inconsistency in the shots —I will inspect the valve stem. will try to shot 50 to 100 shots a day. will install on .30 cal tomorrow and mail one to OldGoat for testing.

well I’m up to 925 shots with no issue with the .22 and 423 shots on the .25, I think oldgoat received the .30 cal metal valve stem I sent him for testing. when I get some up date on the .30 will post.

I don´t fully agree. One of the Snipergay´s advices regarding the EdGun was worse. Other than that Brant should be ashamed .. Very ashamed.
245 shot today. total so far: 464 shot, shot string the same. this week end I’ll shot till over 1K so I can look at the condition of the valve stem!

yes, getting swamped isn’t the word. sometime I have more edguns, but I feel like 6 crickets coming in one shipment this week. Its hard to keep track, even hard to keep track who paid, one time I swore I didn’t receive this R3m long, found out two days later I had it—there was no member name on the box, just the company name. I need assistant to do all the paper work, it’s slowing me down.

Back to valve stems.. the best results I got so far is the 2.00 mm stem.. I have experimented down to 1.4mm actually, but it was a disaster at 2400psi. .. it got bent.
we use the 2mm stainless steel that is heat treaded, I think it cost $2 an 1″ (its was the most expensive)
