You are right. The product announced in the website is with the grey stock. And I was expecting that one.
I’m concerned that if I want to trade or sell the rifle in the future, the inferior finish quality of this natural wood stock would diminish the value of my gun.
I´ll write Tony for a change.

Thanks

quote Patman:

Hi all

I was expecting to see the grey stock but mine came in natural wood ( I didn´t choose / wasn´t asked that finish).
.

Since the website shows only the grey stock and Tony did not inform you of the change you should call him and see if he will give you one and you can send him that one, or maybe he will get you one at a discount. On the
forums we all know of the changes happening because Tony and Ed chime
in from time to time, but you obviously weren’t informed of this change.
Tony is a great rep and a good guy. I’m sure he will make it right for you.

Patman. The stock gray stocks were available seperately. I believe that they were right at $100.

I am interested in seeing what you come up with.

Still waiting for my long version Matador.

Hi all

Finally, after a long wait I got my Matador 22. The balance, weight and overall ergonomy is fabulous for a rifle this simple, without all the orthopaedic gadgets that some FT rifles have.
I was expecting to see the grey stock but mine came in natural wood ( I didn´t choose / wasn´t asked that finish).

From pictures from other people in the forum it seems the grey stocks are finished more carefully despite the grainy texture.
The natural wood version I got, lacks the circular radii / filleted edges, specially on the foregrip, wich is too square and massive without the three vents the grey version have.

Although I´m not putting blame on Tony who was very pacient nor Ed. This product is great way beyond any subjective taste issue.

Because it would be too time consuming to ask for a stock model change from México, I´ll create my own custom stock using some Renshape rigid foam for tooling.
As a practising industrial designer I think I should be up to the challenge of creating my own from custom design in 3D CAD.
I´ll be posting the process from the sketches.

I hope to test it soon.

The first shipment left Moscow on May 16th. It did not make it to Florida yet 🙁

Thanks for the clarification, Giorgos.

acourvil, the 3rd-party multishot kits will be availabe very soon from Tony (sometime this month). As I understand, price is $150.

Are these available in the US yet?

You have to turn it manualy.
Is the same multishot magazine described in the begining of the topic from mamcrackin.
Is made from really quality stuff.
I bought it from Moscow. Came after 3 weeks. Works perfect
Anyway i think is better than keep the pellets into pocket.

Giorgos

gpapado,

That looks like some awesome work. In fact, if I’m looking at it correctly, this multishot kit has a cycling mechanism built into it. The one in the U.S. does not cycle on its own; it must be done manually. This is what prevented me from biting the $150 bullet to get one.

Now, if THAT kit you have available in Greece was to be made available in the States, I would not hesitate. If possible, please provide further information: where you purchased? name of the manufacturer? Anything you can offer will be of help.

Ted

Here is the first multishot in Greece
quality construction, nice job. Hope it works also fine

Giorgos
